Road Trip, Florida – April 2023

Despite a rainy start, we tackled the weather conditions in our practical shoes and wrinkle-prone linen clothing and set out to showcase our beautiful new label and the two single vineyard wines from Sonoma – the 2021 Sangiacomo Robert Roads Pinot Noir and the 2021 Rossi Ranch Grenache.

Traveling to ten cities in just two weeks, made it imperative to take photos of the room number and hotel address to return to the correct pillow at night. Nothing more embarrassing than trying to get into your neighbor’s room. But through it all, we never lost sight of the beautiful scenery and friendly faces that made our journey special. We spent breakfasts, lunches and dinners with our distribution partner, Winebow of Florida. The talented Sales Representatives and Managers made it a priority to introduce us to those very valued customers they serve. We found each city and tasting was just as special as the last, culminating in a memorable finale at the acclaimed Forks and Corks Food and Wine Festival in Sarasota, Florida.

The weather cleared up and did not disappoint, with humidity under control and bright sunshine illuminating the miles of waterways and sand in every color imaginable.
